<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device which enables inhibition of scuffing on the surface of a housing without using a special tool. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic device (SET-TOP BOX 100) includes: a housing 1 having through holes 13a and 14b; a cable input terminal 5 and a cable output terminal 6 both being provided in the housing and having screw units 9 in the outer periphery thereof; and hexagon nuts 10 for connecting the housing 1 to the cable input terminal 5 and the cable output terminal 6 by threadably mounting the cable input terminal 5 and the cable output terminal 6 on the screw units 9, the cable input terminal 5 and the cable output terminal 6 both protruding outward, passing through the through holes 13a and 14b, respectively, thereby sealing the through holes 13a and 14b. In the vicinity of the through holes 13a and 14b provided on the surface of the housing 1, convex portions 12 protruding outward are each formed so as to be in contact with an edge of a tool for fastening the hexagon nuts 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
