<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid rattling of a terminal fitting. <P>SOLUTION: An opening K is provided on one side of an connector housing 1, and a cavity 5 inside the connector housing is exposed. A disengagement preventing portion 8 is formed in the cavity 5 and locks a female terminal fitting 7 housed from above the opening K to prevent the terminal fitting 7 from being disengaged in the rear direction. A cover member 2 is provided with a cover 15 that slides along the planar direction of the opening K from the rear of the connector housing 1. When the opening K is closed by the cover 15, a thin wall portion 36 of the cover 15 goes under a locking wall 19 and prevents the cover 15 from being disengaged in the upward direction.
