<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereolithography apparatus which gives a highly transparent model involving least bubbles. <P>SOLUTION: A recoater 18 includes defoaming means 46 and 48. The defoaming means is composed of an ultrasonic oscillator 46 and a diaphragm 48. The height of the bottom edge of the diaphragm 48 is the same as the height of the bottom edges of recoater blades 36 and 38. Bubbles are splashed and disappear by contacting with the bottom edge of the vertical part of the diaphragm 48 located at the back of their advancing direction. The bubbles are removed from the uncured photocurable liquid resin introduced on the surface the cured layer. A model excellent in transparency is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
