<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To design and develop a seating furniture in such a way that a greater degree of comfort is achieved for the user in the standing-up assistance position, without disproportionately increasing the complexity of a mounting mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: In the seating furniture, a coupling linkage (11) is configured to transmit the pivotal movement of a backrest (5) relative to a seat (3) to a foot part (4), and conversely, transmit the pivotal movement of the foot part (4) to the backrest (5). A stop (14) to abut on the foot part (4), the coupling linkage (11) and/or the backrest (5) in a rear position of the foot part (4) is provided. The stop (14), together with the coupling linkage (11), converts the pivotal movement of the seat (3), relative to a base frame (17) from the sitting position to the standing-up assistance position, into the pivotal movement of the backrest (5) relative to the seat (3), and at the same time, the opening angle (α) between the backrest (5) and seat (3) is increased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
