The solution relates to a door handle (1) of the tailgate of motor vehicles, which door handle is arranged in the opening (2) in the outer panel of the tailgate and has a body (3), the cavity (4) of which contains a microswitch (5) against which a pressure handle (6), which is covered by a moulded seal (7), bears. The pressure handle (6) has a bow (8) on which spring elements (9) are arranged, the spring elements being connected fixedly at one end to the pressure handle (6) and leaning against the surface (10) in the cavity (4) at the other end. In order for a constant travel of the pressure handle (6) to be ensured, the bow (8) is connected to the pressure handle (6) by ribs (12) and stiffening ribs (13), wherein a strut (11) which limits the travel of the pressure handle (6) is arranged between the bow (8) and the spring elements (9). The pressure handle (6) as a whole is formed from plastic. By means of the present arrangement of the pressure handle (6), a stable position of the spring elements (9) in relation to the body (3) of the door handle (6) is ensured. The reduction in the friction between the spring elements (9) and the surface (10) in the cavity (4) of the body (3), and also a damped, non-metallic sound during the travel of the pressure handle (6) are also advantageous. |
