The unit consists of a support (8) containing two caps (7). The support shaft (1) is fixed to the support by these end caps which contain bearing sleeves (6) which enables the shaft to freely rotate. This shaft (1) passes through two scored face rollers (2), the spacers (3) and a central cutting roller (4). The assembly is held on the shaft by the nuts (5) located at either end of this shaft, and the central roller has associated with it a cleaning spring (10). On the end edges of the rotating panels (14) are metal strips (13) between which the cutting roller (4) engages and by a backwards and forwards motion of the cutting unit the paper between the strips (13) is cut. USE/ADVANTAGE - For the cutting up into sections at the joints, paper posters pasted to double sided poster boards with rotary elements without the need of dismantling them, which can be carried out whilst the paper is still wet.
