Provided is an improved screen printer. A printer body (18) is comprised of a main body unit (20) and a supporting board unit (22), which are separately provided. The main body unit (20) is supported by the supporting board unit (22) so that the main body unit can be moved forward. A feed screw (150) is rotatably held by the main body unit (20) parallel to the front-back direction and immovable in the axial direction, and is threaded into a nut (154) provided on the supporting board unit (22). An operator turns and manipulates a handle (152) attached to the feed screw (150) so as to move the main body unit (20) forward with respect to the supporting board unit (22), and to pull out the main body unit from the supporting board unit (22). As a result, a space is obtained at the upper back side of the supporting board unit (22) and at the back side of the main body unit (20), and the operator can perform a maintenance operation, etc. in the space. By a handle manipulation by the operator, the main body unit (20) is drawn onto the supporting board unit (22), and is positioned at a back end position by the activation of a draw-in device.
