Disclosed is a carbon nanotube light emitter, a light source, and a photocoupler: provided with a plurality of electrodes (12, 14), and carbon nanotubes (CNTs), at least a portion of which are metal-carbon nanotubes (10), positioned between the electrodes (12, 14); and configured in such a manner that the metal-carbon nanotubes (10) generate heat due to electricity passing through the electrodes (12, 14), and emit light that can be modulated at high speed over a wide emission wavelength region due to black body radiation that is emitted. A continuous spectral light source that can be modulated at high speed, which is suitable for use in the information communication, electrical and electronic fields, can thus be achieved.
|
