<p>In order to provide a metal nanoparticle array structure wherein a metal nanoparticle array is firmly affixed on a substrate by chemical bonds or the like, and the rate of coverage by the aforementioned metal nanoparticle array is high, disclosed is a metal nanoparticle array structure (10) that has a substrate (1), an affixing layer (2) formed on one surface (1a) of the substrate (1), and a metal nanoparticle array (3) formed on one surface (2a) of the affixing layer (2); in the metal nanoparticle array (3), a plurality of metal nanoparticles (4) are arrayed equidistantly; the metal nanoparticles (4) are joined to each other by means of a modified section (5) provided to the surface thereof; and the metal nanoparticles (4) are affixed to one surface (2a) of the affixing layer (2) by means of chemical bonds.</p> |
