PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for treating vapor from steam traps are provided to improve a working environment and to prevent the generation of environmental pollutions and facility abrasions. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for treating vapor from steam traps includes a collecting pipe(20) and a treating part(30). The steam traps(10) are connected, and the collecting pipe collects vapor and condensed water from the seam traps. The treating pipe is in connection with the collecting pipe using a connecting line(22). The treating part treats the collected vapor and condensed water. The treating part includes a vertical pipe(40), a cooling pipe(50), a connecting pipe(56), a discharging pipe(60), and a discharging trap(70). The discharging trap prevents the discharge of the vapor.
