PURPOSE: A solidification method and an apparatus for radioactive waste materials are provided to increase the intensity of a solidification by minimizing the air gap inside the solidification. CONSTITUTION: In a solidification method and an apparatus for radioactive waste materials, a solidification drum(10) accepts a radioactive waste. A polymer injection device(20) inputs polymer into the drum. A measurement unit(30) senses the level of the polymer. An internal vacuum suction device(40) is built in the lower part of the drum. A sight glass(50) is combined on the top side of the vacuum suction internal device. The sight glass confirms the leakage of polymer. A vacuum pump(60) inhales the air. A check valve blocks the leakage of polymer from the drum. A temperature measurement sensor(80) senses the inner temperature of the solidification drum.
