PURPOSE: A passenger detecting sensor is provided to be installed in the left/ right passenger by shielding the air gateway of film through a shielding member. CONSTITUTION: A passenger detecting sensor comprises first and second films(20, 30), an adhesive member(40), a switch member(12, 14) and a shielding member. The first and second films are each other separated from a passenger seat. The first and second films have the air gateway. The adhesive member sticks to the first and second films. The separate space(S) of the adhesive member is formed between the first and second films and is communicated with the air gateway. The switch member is arranged between the first film and adhesive member interval, and the second film and adhesive member. If the passenger seat is pressurized with the load of passenger, the first and second films are curved. The switch members are each other touched in the separate space. The shielding member is arranged in one between the first and second films. The shielding member shields the air gateway of one film.
