PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magazine with a short interval between grip arms.SOLUTION: In a machine tool including a disc-like magazine body disposed on the front face side of a spindle head 4 and a plurality of grip arms 30 arranged radially on the outer periphery of the magazine body and holding tool holders 6, each of the plurality of grip arms 30 is rotatably supported between an opened position opened toward the radius expanding side and a closed position closed toward the radius shrinking side from the opened side in the outer periphery of the magazine body, a plurality of arm holding mechanisms are provided which hold all of the grip arms in the opened position when the spindle head is in a position of cutting with a tool mounted on a spindle 5, and a cam mechanism 50 is provided which switches a grip arm 30A for tool replacement in the lowest position from the opened position to the closed position when the spindle head rises to the tool replacement original position in replacing the tool and the grip arm 30A for tool replacement holds a tool holder and switches the grip arm for tool replacement from the closed position to the opened position on the way the spindle head rises to an upper turning position. |
