PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable proper aberration correction, even when a lens apparatus having an individual difference and a camera apparatus are connected to each other.SOLUTION: An image pickup apparatus includes the lens apparatus attached to the camera apparatus detachably, and the camera apparatus separating a beam from an object into color beams of three colors and displaying an image obtained by synthesizing first, second and third photoelectrically converted image signals on a display unit, wherein the lens apparatus includes a memory unit storing correcting data in an image height direction of the second and third image signals on the first image signal for correcting aberration of the image taking optical system by using an image taking optical system state as a parameter, and a lens controlling unit extracting the correcting data corresponding to the image taking optical system state from the memory unit, wherein the camera apparatus includes a camera controller moving the second and third image signals in the image height direction, and displaying an image obtained by superimposing the color image signals on the display unit, based on the correcting data, wherein the image pickup apparatus includes an operation unit specifying an arbitrary position in the image and setting the correcting amount of the correcting data, and wherein the lens controlling unit adjusts the correcting data based on the correcting amount, and the memory unit stores the adjusted correcting data. |
