PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-tenacity fiber having excellent rubber adhesiveness, and to provide a fiber rubber composite material reinforced with the high-tenacity fiber.SOLUTION: The problems are solved by the high-tenacity fiber (a wholly aromatic polyester-based fiber, etc.) in which at least a part of functional groups (carboxy or hydroxy) on the fiber surface are reacted with a carbodiimide-based cross-linking agent, and the fiber strength is not less than 10 cN/dex, and the fiber rubber composite material reinforced with the high-tenacity fiber. The cross-linking agent is applied in an amount of 0.1-10 wt.% based on the fiber. |
