PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet which suppresses the particle growth of magnet particles having single magnet-domain particle size and improves magnetic performance, and to provide a method for manufacturing the permanent magnet.SOLUTION: An organic metal compound solution doped with an organic metal compound expressed by M-(OR)(wherein M is V, Mo, Zr, Ta, Ti, W or Nb, R is one from among 2-6C alkyl groups and may be a straight chain or a branched chain, and x is an arbitrary integer) is added to a neodymium fine powder pulverized in single magnet-domain particle size, and the organic metal compound is uniformly deposited to the surface of the neodymium magnet particles. After that, the dried magnetic powder is maintained for several hours at 200°C-900°C, in a hydrogen atmosphere to execute temporary baking processing in hydrogen. Furthermore, a powdery temporarily baked product temporarily baked in the temporary baking processing in hydrogen is maintained for several hours at 200°C-600°C in vacuum atmosphere to execute dehydrogenation treatment. |
