摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately calculate and measure the ratio of unsintered parts including a grain boundary gap and a grain boundary oxidized part to the entire area of a sintered and forged object, that is, the unsintered area ratio.SOLUTION: An image of a sintered and forged face which is obtained by photographing a sintered and forged object of a measurement workpiece (S1) by a scanning electron microscope (S2) is displayed as a secondary electron image and a reflected electron composition image. From both the secondary electron image and the reflected electron composition image, a grain boundary gap and a grain boundary oxidized part, which are unsintered parts, are identified. The identified unsintered parts are colored in black, and other parts, that is, sintered parts are colored in white (S3). The ratio of the area of the black parts to the area of the acquired image is calculated by image processing (S4) (S5). The calculated result is the area ratio of the unsintered parts of the sintered and forged object.
