PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a current to be supplied to an electromagnetic load while using a switching element which is driven by a drive signal of a voltage higher than an applied voltage.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic load control apparatus includes: a switching element for switching the on/off of a current to be supplied to an electromagnetic load; a first boosting circuit for boosting a voltage to be applied to the switching element; and a second boosting circuit for further boosting a voltage boosted by the first boosting circuit. A voltage for a drive signal of the switching element is set by using a voltage boosted by the second boosting circuit.
