PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide at low cost a compact that maintains a closed state in ordinarily used state while facilitating an open state when opened in use.SOLUTION: A problem is solved by forming the shape of the lid hook projection and the body hook of a circular compact container along the arcuate of the container. The lid can be restrained even with a light engaging strength by forming the shape of the lid hook projection and the body hook along the arcuate of the circular compact container. Since the engaging strength can be reduced, the compact container is easily opened as a result. Further, the lid hook can be made smaller than before, which allows reduction in an occupied proportion of the lid hook in the finger applying groove of the body hook, allowing a finger to be stably applied to the finger applying groove and facilitating opening of the compact container. Consequently, the finger application projection in the lid body is not required, improving design as well as reducing cost. In addition, a hook piece is no longer required, curtailing the die preparation expense and achieving lower cost. |
