PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent structure for easily facilitating bodily fluids to disperse in the thickness direction of a the structure.SOLUTION: The core material 11 of the absorbent structure 10 is formed of an aggregation of ground wood pulp. The aggregation has a basis mass per unit area in a range of 150 to 500g/mand a specific volume in a range of 3 to 20 cc/g. In the aggregation, a relationship between horizontal orientation index Iand specific volume Vof ground wood pulp is represented by a formula as follows: I≤-0.099V+2.4. |
