PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a parallax image with simple and compact configuration.SOLUTION: A parallax image acquisition device 100 includes: an objective lens optical system 1 configured to condense luminous flux from an object S; polarizing plates 2a and 2b, disposed on the optical path of the luminous flux and configured to transmit two kinds of linear polarized light crossing each other in accordance with a surface area in plan view; light quantity changing parts 3a and 3b disposed on the optical path of the luminous flux and configured to change a light transmittance; a luminous flux separation part 6 disposed behind a condenser lens optical system 5 and on the optical path of the luminous flux, and configured to separate the luminous flux into two systems of luminous flux in accordance with the polarization direction of the luminous flux; and imaging parts 7a and 7b configured to separately image the two systems of luminous flux separated by the luminous flux separation part 6 to form the parallax image.
