The socket splitter has a primary socket (1), and a housing made from thermoplastic resin or ceramic with heat conductivity of more than 10 watt per mega Kelvin. A retainer retains two electric lamps (7, 8) over secondary sockets (2, 3) on which a power source of the primary socket is distributed. The secondary sockets are positionable with respect to the primary socket over a degree of freedom, and are swingable with respect to a position of the primary socket. The primary socket is designed for E27 Edison screw, and the secondary sockets are designed for E14 Edison screw.
