<p>Each pixel electrode (7) is electrically connected to the drain electrode (18D) of each transistor element (18); the layer in which the pixel electrodes (7) have been formed and the layer in which data signal wires (SLn, SLn+1, ... ) have been formed are formed on a higher layer than the layer in which scanning signal wires (GLn, GLn+1, ... ) have been formed; the pixel electrodes (7) and the scanning signal wires (GLn, GLn+1, ... ) are formed in a manner overlapping in plan view; cutout sections (7a, 7b) are formed in the pixel electrodes (7) at sections in which the pixel electrodes (7) and the scanning signal wires (GLn, GLn+1, ... ) overlap; shield electrodes (4a, 4b) are formed on the layer in which the data signal wires (SLn, SLn+1, ... ) have been formed; and a portion of the scanning signal wire (GLn, GLn+1, ... ) in each cutout section (7a, 7b) is disposed in a manner such that at least a portion thereof overlaps in plan view. Accordingly, a liquid crystal display panel can be realized that has wide viewing angle characteristics and is capable of high-definition display.</p> |
