PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive recording body superior in image quality and surface strength.SOLUTION: The heat-sensitive recording body in which a saturated fatty acid amide is incorporated into a substrate of the heat-sensitive recoding body to make it low in density, and a specified color developing agent is incorporated into a heat-sensitive recording layer to provide superior printing density, image quality, water resistance, plasticizer resistance and the like, is provided. The heat-sensitive recording body has a sufficient general printability, and has no possibility of posing such a problem as printing strike through. In addition, even when an undercoat layer is not provided, it is possible to assure sufficient image quality and general printability. |
