PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering lock device capable of surely securing a locking dimension to a steering wheel in a lock state.SOLUTION: This steering lock device includes a housing 2 fixed to a steering column 1 and a lock member 6 stored into the housing 2, entering into the steering column 1 from an access opening 3 opened in the steering column 1 and engaged with/disengaged from a steering shaft 5 through an operation of a locking/unlocking operation part 4. The lock member 6 is energized to a locking position side with the steering shaft 5 by a proper energizing means 7. The lock member 6 is provided with a stopper projecting part 8 abutting on the steering column 1 to determine a stroke terminal on the locking position side of the lock member 6. |
