PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object buried in soil constituted of natural components and a method for inhibiting weed growth.SOLUTION: By burying the objects 10 buried in soil composed of a biodegradable plastic mixed with a weed growth inhibitor constituted of natural components in the soil at predetermined intervals, weed growth can be inhibited for a long period of time by time-dependent elusion of the weed growth inhibitor from the insides of the objects 10 buried in soil. The weed growth inhibitor is brought to contain a red pepper extract component and a white radish sprout extract component as the principal components. About 40 wt.% of the red pepper extract component is capsaicin and about 95 wt.% of the white radish sprout extract component is rutin. Calcium hydroxide and rice flour are included as other components. The buried body 10 is formed into a stake shape, wherein the top part is formed to be convergent, the peripheral side face has protruded stripe parts 15 expanding outward and two or more protruded parts 18 protruding toward the outer direction are made at suitable positions of the protruded parts. |
