PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the workability of jam processing work, without making the time up to recovery to a recording operation longer and the discharge of ink impossible.SOLUTION: An inkjet recorder 10 includes: a recording head unit 14; a conveying unit 16; a hinge 24 (connection mechanism) connecting the recording head unit 14 and the conveying unit 16, so as to obtain a first form where a carrying surface 72a faces a discharge surface and a second form where the carrying surface 72a is separated from the discharge surface; and a casing 12. The recording head unit 14 and the conveying unit 16 are placed at a first position E1 in the casing 12, in such a state that the carrying surface 72a obtains the first form, can be drawn out to a second position E2 outside the casing 12 through a drawing port 38, while keeping a positional relation between the recording head unit 14 and the conveying unit 16 in the drawing direction Y, and further, are placed at the second position E2, in such a state that the carrying surface 72a obtains the second form. |
