An electrostatic atomizing apparatus is provided with a plurality of thermoelectric elements (2) of different types, and a discharge electrode (1) which performs electrostatic atomization. The discharge electrode (1) has a mounting section (13) having the thermoelectric elements (2) of different types mounted thereon. The mounting section (13) is provided with current carrying paths among the thermoelectric elements (2) of different types. Thus, the size of the apparatus as a whole is reduced and energy is saved, while maintaining cooling performance for generating dew condensation water on the discharge electrode (1).
