PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate valve to control the flow of a gas whose temperature should be maintained high, capable of overcoming the problems of contamination or corrosion of a valve seat and valve box caused by gas components.SOLUTION: A partitioning plate is installed inside the valve box, and the flow of a working gas is opened and closed by using metal gallium or granular substances stable at high temperatures supplied from outside the system as a sealing material.
