PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the assembly workability of a cylindrical roller bearing without causing a special increase in cost.SOLUTION: The cylindrical roller bearing 1 includes an inner ring 2 as an inside member with an inside track 2a on the outer diameter surface, an outer ring 3 as an outside member with an outside track 3a on the inner diameter surface, a cylindrical roller 4 rotatably disposed between both the tracks 2a and 3a, and a retainer 5 intervening between both the rings 2 and 3 and having a pocket 5c for retaining the cylindrical roller 4. Between the pocket 5c of the retainer 5 and the cylindrical roller 4, a soluble regulating means for regulating the depression of the cylindrical roller 4 in assembly work of the bearing 1 is placed. As the soluble regulating means, grease 7 with a viscosity of 250 or less in a mixed state can be used. When the cylindrical roller bearing 1 is operated, this grease 7 is welded by frictional heat generated associated with the operation of the bearing to allow the cylindrical roller 4 to rotate. |
