There is described an apparatus (1) and method thereof for positioning and rotating pivoting members in rotational means (100), comprising at least one vertically lying rotating element (2) associated with a horizontal rotating shaft (10) pivotally sustained by supports (4), at least one rigid tubular body (41), disconnected from the rotating element (2) and fixed to said supports (4) and pivotally housing said shaft (10) by means of bearings (40), at least one pair of guides (5, 51, 52) integral with the rotating element (2) which run towards the rigid body (41) centrally positioned with respect to the rotating element (2) and therefore between the two guides (5, 51, 52), so that the masses (7, 71, 72) freely falling along said guides (5, 51, 52) may collide with the rigid body (41), said shaft (10) being at one end (101) associated with an actuating means (200) of the rotating element (2) and at the other end (102) with the external rotational means (100), means (300) adapted to selectively disassociate said rotating element (2) from said shaft (10) being also provided. |
