FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to abrasive processing and may be used in sharpening disposable plates. Plate is rotated about sharpening axis to sharpen its inclined narrow sides. For this, rotating grinding wheel with annular surface, head and tail sections is used. Grinding wheel is fed relative to disposable plate along geometrical line formed by plate narrow side generator in direction of plate feed. Sharpening is carried out in lengthwise grinding. Grinding wheel head performs plate narrow part rough grinding while its tail part makes finish sharpening in line tangenting. Sharpening is carried out in coordinated program-controlled motions. ^ EFFECT: higher accuracy and quality of sharpening. ^ 18 cl, 11 dwg |
