PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the storage capacity of read data read by a first reading part to be stored in a storing part by the time all read data read by a second image reading part is outputted, in an image reader including the first reading part for reading an image from one side that faces across a conveyance path and a second image reading part for reading the image from the other side that faces across the conveyance path to read both sides of an original on respective different reading conditions about one side of the original and the other side of the original.SOLUTION: Reading conditions of both sides of the original are respectively inputted, and an original placing direction is displayed in a guide displaying part such that the side of the original corresponding to a reading condition that storage capacity is small is a reading surface by the first image reading part. Then, the first image reading part reads the original by using a reading condition that storage capacity is small, and the second image reading part reads the original by using a reading condition that storage capacity is large, respectively. |
