<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor processor such as a card type electronic device, for eliminating relatively easily trouble due to power interruption caused by removal of a card. <P>SOLUTION: This semiconductor processor is provided with an interface control circuit 4 and a processing circuit 5, and is attached to an external device, for example, a card slot 11, to receive operation power. The processing circuit is a nonvolatile memory erasable and writable electrically. The interface control circuit detects a potential change generated in the first external terminal H1 separated from a prescribed terminal P1 of the card slot, before the power interruption from the card slot, when removed from the card slot, in order to eliminate the trouble due to the power interruption caused by the removal of the card, and instructs end processing to the processing circuit in operation.
