PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compatibly attain both of the increase in a carry and the improvement of directivity by optimizing a balance between a normal flex and a torque value.
SOLUTION: This golf shaft is extended from a small-diameter head mounting side to a large-diameter grip mounting side, has a shaft length of not less than 1045 mm and not more than 1200 mm and has a weight of not less than 35 g and not more than 70 g; its normal flex Fb is not less than 90 mm and not more than 150 mm, when being measured by applying a load of 2.7 kg to a position being 1039 mm from the grip mounting side end with two upper/lower points, the upper point being 75 mm from the grip mounting side end and the lower point being 215 mm from the grip mounting side end as support points, a position being 40 mm from the head mounting side end is fixed; the torque value T is not more than 2.4°and not more than 5.0°, when applying a torque load of 13.9 N to a position being 865 mm from the head mounting side end; and the relation between the normal flex Fb and the torque value T satisfies T≤0.052Fb-2.5.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
|
