A fuel economizer includes a housing 10 with a primary compartment 12 in which at least two magnetic members 20a, 20b are arranged in close proximity with their sides of the same polarity facing each other. The housing 10 has at least one end forming an opening 14a, 14b closed by an end cover 31, 32. The covers 14a, 14b are secured by bolts 17 passing through holes 33 in the end covers and into threaded holes 16 in the housing 10 and may have apertures to allow liquid to flow through the primary receiving compartment 12. The magnetic members 20a, 20b may be urged towards each other, against their magnetic repulsion, by resilient elements 23 located between the magnetic member 20a, 20b and respective ferrous boards 21a, 21b located in recesses 15 in opposite walls of the housing 10. Far infrared particles 30 may also be provided in the housing 10, eg in secondary compartments 13a, 13b on opposite sides of the primary receiving compartment 12, or at each end of the primary compartment (fig.6). |
