A method for determination of solar reflex type comprises the pressure on the front abdominal wall and determination of frequency of heart beats before and immediately after the pressure. For pressure on the front abdominal wall the batched discretely growing compression influence is used and additional indices of cardiogenodynamics are determined, before, during and after the batched compression influence on the front abdominal wall and at absence of substantial (< 15 % from starting level) changes of indices of cardiogenodynamics at compression influence on the front abdominal wall the normoergic type of the solar reflex is determined at substantial (>15 % from starting level) increase of indices of cardiogenodynamics the hypererguc type of the solar reflex is determined, and at the substantial (>15 % from starting level) diminishing of indices of cardiogenodynamics the hypotonic type of the solar reflex is determined.
