METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING DIFFUSE ALTERATIONS OF LIVER PARENCHYMA IN COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY

A method for diagnosing the diffuse alterations of liver parenchyma in computed tomography and predicting possible malignization comprises intravenous bolus administration of the contrast medium and the assessment of its uptake by liver parenchyma by calculating the ratio of maximal coefficient of liver parenchyma density to maximal concentration of the contrast medium in the portal vein.
