A balancing support system is provided for a handheld electronic device enabled with a camera. The support system is balanced on a central apex of a handle member. Laterally spaced apart clamping members allow various camera devices to be damped onto the support system. Counterbalancing stabilizer arms are also able to support a camera on the support system in a self-supported and upright orientation. A steering member transmits steering movement to the camera device relative to the handle member through a magnetic interaction to minimize the effects of undesirable user movements on the video being captured by the camera device. |
