PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflective thermosensitive recording medium that maintains its high glossiness, causes no image failure due to deposition of head dusts, nor sticking during printing, has excellent color tones of a background and an image, causes no curling or charging, causes no problem of handling due to odor, and is particularly suitable for medical use.SOLUTION: The thermosensitive recording medium includes a support, and at least a thermosensitive recording layer and a surface layer over the support, wherein the thermosensitive recording layer contains: a binding agent; a coloring agent; and a color developer, and the surface layer contains: polyester (meth)acrylate having at least three (meth)acryloyl groups; and an α-hydroxyketone-based polymerization initiator having a melting point of 80°C or higher. |
