The mat (1) has protection devices for compartmentalization, and an edge area provided with foldable side pieces (3-6) that are unfoldable in parallel to bottom position. The foldable side pieces are pre-folded by hinges along a flat surface of bottom (2) of the mat to form a side wall. The bottom of the mat comprises different materials on a top face and a lower side. A decorative strip is provided on the top face of the bottom. The decorative strip is made of rails e.g. plastic rails, metal rails and timber rails. The lower side of the bottom comprises a rubber textured surface.
