PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active energy ray curable composition which can be sensitively cured even by the irradiation of a low-output active energy ray, is low in the exudation of a surfactant, and is excellent in temporal stability; an active energy ray curable ink composition; an inkjet recording method using the active energy ray curable ink composition; and printed matter.SOLUTION: The active energy ray curable composition comprises (A) a substantially water-insoluble polymerizable compound having an ethylenic unsaturated bond, (B) a surfactant having one or more groups selected from the group consisting of an acrylate, a methacrylate, acrylamide, and methacrylamide, (C) a polymerization initiator, and (D) water. The inkjet recording method and the printed matter use the active energy ray curable ink composition. |
