PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric converting device with an optical waveguide having a satisfactory solvent resistance and a satisfactory heat resistance.SOLUTION: The photoelectric converting device 100 is equipped with: a substrate 10; photoelectric sections 20 formed on a upper portion of the substrate 10; and optical waveguides 30 formed upwards on the photoelectric sections 20. The optical waveguides 30 each contain a cured product of a composition that contains polyimide and cross-linking agent, the polyimide containing sulfur and having a refractive index of 1.60 or more at 633 nm.
