PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for solubilizing and treating waste containing solid biomass efficiently and easily at a low cost.SOLUTION: A method for solubilizing waste containing solid biomass includes the steps of: heat-treating the waste at 70-90°C in the presence of methane fermentation sludge or a liquid fraction thereof to obtain the solubilized material; extracting another liquid fraction from the solubilized material to obtain the remainder to be used as solubilized sludge; and heat-treating the waste together with the solubilized sludge at 70-90°C. According to this method, the solubilization efficiency of the waste can be improved remarkably. |
