PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical multiplexer/demultiplexer the manufacturing process of which is simplified, for which a module is miniaturized, and which reduces a loss in light coupling, and also to provide a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: An optical demultiplexer has an input fiber 10, a coupling lens 20, a wavelength demultiplexing part 30, a coupling lens array 40, and an output fiber array 50. The wavelength demultiplexing part 30 has a laminated body consisting of light transmittable blocks 31-1 to 31-4. The light transmittable blocks 31-1 to 31-4 are each formed with light transmittable members, for example, glass or the like. The laminated body 31 is formed by laminating the light transmittable blocks 31-1 to 31-4. The sides of the light transmittable blocks 31-1 to 31-4 in the laminated body 31, which are adjacent to each other, are connected to each other by an optical contact method. |
