PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite fiber containing a cellulose fiber, having a high strength and a high elastic modulus, and being excellent in fibrillation resistance.SOLUTION: The method for producing the composite fiber includes a dispersion-preparing step for preparing a dispersion comprising raw material cellulose, monolayer carbon nanotubes, and N-methylmorpholine-oxide, and a spinning step for extruding and ejecting the dispersion through a spinning nozzle, and then coagulating the extruded fiber through an air layer and a coagulation bath to obtain the regenerated cellulose fiber containing the monolayer carbon nanotubes. The dispersion further contains catechin or carboxymethylcellulose, or a salt thereof. |
