A method and a system for data synchronization for internet work mobile number portability application are provided. The method involves: a main E.164 number ENUM system/domain name system DNS receives and loads number portability increment file information sent by a number portability database, wherein the number portability increment file information comprises: the association information of a user mobile number and an access network identifier(101); the number portability increment file information is sent to a backup ENUM system/DNS by the main ENUM system/domain name system DNS after successfully loading the number portability increment file information(102); the backup ENUM system/DNS receives the number portability increment file information, and notifies the main ENUM system/DNS after successfully loading the number portability increment file information(103).
