PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder for a membrane-electrode assembly capable of improving the power generation characteristics, and to provide the membrane-electrode assembly for a fuel cell which uses the binder.SOLUTION: In the membrane-electrode assembly for the fuel cell which includes an electrode and a polymer electrolyte membrane and uses the binder for the electrode, the binder contains binder resin and a carrier.
