PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-definition active matrix type display.SOLUTION: A video signal line 311 is extended to video signal lines of two systems, having first video signal lines (R1, G1 and B1) and second video signal lines (R2, G2 and B2). The video signal lines of two systems are connected three by three (six in total) to corresponding data lines, according to a signal Hi (i=1 to n) from one shift register. Since video signals of pixels twice as many as normal are subjected to sample-hold by a single pulse of the shift register, a higher-resolution panel can be driven. |
