PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs by dispensing with a magnetic body and achieve miniaturization with a simple configuration in a torque sensor for detecting torsion between first and second shafts connected coaxially via a torsion bar.SOLUTION: First and second multipole magnets 13, 14 that are magnetized alternately in a circumferential direction, are formed in a ring shape having the same diameter, and oppose mutually are fixed to the first and second shafts 11, 12, respectively. A magnetic sensor 15 is disposed at the center between the first and second multipole magnets 13, 14. A relative angle between the first and second shafts 11, 12 because of torsion of the torsion bar 10 for connecting the first and second shafts 11, 12 is computed by a calculation means 16 based on an angle of magnetic force detected by the magnetic sensor 15. |
